Asha Narasimhan Chesnutt, MD is a pulmonary/critical care physician on the Health team at Apple working on several initiatives including respiratory health and COVID efforts. With a passion for empowering patients to engage in their health and wellness, much of Dr. Chesnutt’s focus is on offering consumers actionable insights that help them take better care of themselves. Prior to her time at Apple, Dr. Chesnutt served 20 years at the Oregon Clinic in ICU and hospital settings and three years as Medical Director for Pharmacy and Quality at the health plan arm of Providence St. Joseph Health. Dr. Chesnutt served as Chief Resident and was on faculty at UCSF where she also completed her internal medicine residency and pulmonary/critical care fellowships. In addition, Dr. Chesnutt has written pulmonary chapters in leading medical textbooks: Current Medical Diagnosis & Treatment 2020 and Fishman’s Pulmonary Diseases and Disorders 2022.
