Moderator: Bimal R. Shah, MD, MBA

Dr. Shah is the Chief Medical Officer of Product, Quality and Analytics at Teladoc Health (NYSE: TDOC). In this role, he provides clinical strategy and guidance across the product portfolio and platform, oversees the thought leadership and clinical research programs, oversees quality, and explores opportunities to expand Teladoc’s assets into other parts of the health care market. Dr. Shah came to Teladoc through the acquisition of Livongo (NASDAQ: LVG)O) where he was the Chief Medical Officer. Prior to Livongo, Dr. Shah was the Chief Officer for Emerging Technology and Informatics at Premier Inc., (NASDAQ: PINC) where he was responsible for crafting and executing the company’s strategy around innovative technology and informatics applications. Previous to Premier, Bimal served as an Assistant Professor in both the Department of Medicine and Fuqua School of Business at Duke University where he led numerous programs in the areas of health services research and quality improvement. Bimal completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Stanford University before finishing a general cardiology fellowship at Duke University. He continues to practice as a general cardiologist and serves as the Chair of the Board of Visitors of the Duke University School of Nursing, a member of the Board of Visitors for the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and Chair of the Board of the Duke School. He is also a Fellow at both the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology.
