Courtney B. Scrubbs

Courtney B. Scrubbs is a stroke survivor, community-health advocate, and Divisional General Counsel for the Diagnostics & Genomics division of LGC Group, where she bridges law, business, and public health to advance equitable outcomes. She is the founder of the Strategic Wellness Initiative, which partners with cultural institutions to bring heart-health resources directly into neighborhoods—most recently piloting the “Three Pillars” model (blood-pressure kiosks, AED placement with BLS training, and community education) at Ashe Cultural Arts Center in New Orleans, her hometown. A 2025 American Heart Association Woman of Impact honoree and member of the AHA Circle of Red, Courtney has mobilized funding and volunteers to expand access for women and families.
