Sheryl Brown, PT, MSPT

Sheryl W. Brown, PT, MSPT, a licensed physical therapist, is a strategic healthcare operations leader with a demonstrated passion for improving the quality and quantity of the patients and clients she serves. Sheryl’s innovative approach to exemplary care and program development includes the implementation of two “First in Texas” cardiovascular programs at the enterprise level for a multi-hospital healthcare system, including the Dr. Dean Ornish Comprehensive Lifestyle Program for Reversing Heart Disease and Vascular Rehabilitation.

Sheryl obtained her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and her specialty in cardiopulmonary physical therapy. Her 18 years of clinical and leadership expertise entails the development and implementation of clinical, post-clinical, and wellness programs within hospital-based rehabilitation service lines such as physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, vascular rehabilitation, and the medical fitness center industry.

In addition to being a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Sheryl utilizes research and evidence-based practice to drive decision-making and was the principal developer of Cooper Tracks®, comprehensive exercise and lifestyle programs for individuals with chronic conditions such as cardiovascular, HTN, diabetes, and cancer, while aligning and educating teams to promote improved quality and excellence in care.

She is pleased to serve on the Physical Activity Alliance and is a frequent speaker and educator at the Medical Fitness Association.
