Lee Shapiro is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of 7WireVentures, a prominent healthcare venture fund. A seasoned healthcare executive, he previously served as CFO of Livongo Health, where he led its 2019 IPO, a successful secondary offering, and its $18.5B merger—one of the highest-valued exits in healthcare technology. He was also President of Allscripts from 2001 to 2012. Lee has served on the boards of several public and private healthcare companies, including Clover Health, Medidata Solutions, and Click Therapeutics, and continues to advise many 7Wire portfolio companies. He holds a JD from the University of Chicago and a BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois.
