Dr. Ross Upton is Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Ultromics and a clinical researcher at the University of Oxford. He is a leader in the development and clinical implementation of AI diagnostics for echocardiography, with multiple FDA-cleared modules for CAD, HFpEF, and cardiac amyloidosis. At Ultromics, Dr. Upton has driven the company’s innovation strategy, securing 6 FDA clearances, 2 FDA breakthrough device designations, 2 CMS reimbursement codes, and over $110 million in funding. He also co-chairs the AI Committee for the FNIH Heart Failure Accelerated Medicines Partnership, helping define new phenotypes for heart failure.
