Star Jones is an attorney, former New York city homicide prosecutor, business executive, best-selling author, and an Emmy award nominated TV host who has worked in media & communications for 30 years. Ms. Jones started her network television career at the NBC Today Show in 1992 and has appeared on TV (as a network correspondent, host, commentator, or advocate) every year since. In 2022, Ms. Jones was tapped to become the host of Divorce Court, the longest-running television court show of all time. Best known to television viewers for her candor, confidence, and uncanny ability to clarify complex legal and social issues, Ms. Jones was an original co-host of ABC’s The View for nine years and is a Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame inductee. She is also President of Girlfriend Entertainment Productions, Inc., her own programming, and production company.

In 2022, President Joe Biden appointed Ms. Jones, Chair & Commissioner, U.S. Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad. She is also the former president and a member of the Board of Directors of Professional Diversity Network, Inc. (Nasdaq: IPDN) and the International Association of Women. A committed advocate of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of business, she is a co-founder and principal of the Instant Impact Group, LLC, a consultancy firm that assists individuals and companies build their diversity, equity & inclusion programs. Through her consultancy firm, Ms. Jones acts as Executive Editor for Marquis Who’s Who, the world’s premier publisher of biographical profiles for over 120 years.
