Star Jones is an attorney, former New York city homicide prosecutor, business executive, best- selling author, and an Emmy award nominated TV host who has worked in media & communications for 30 years.

Ms. Jones is the former president and a member of the Board of Directors of Professional Diversity Network, Inc. and the International Association of Women.

In 2010, Ms. Jones underwent successful open-heart surgery and for over a decade, she has been the National Volunteer of the American Heart Association. Seen throughout the 2011 season of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice on behalf of the American Heart Association breaking fundraising records and advocating for heart health.
