Vimal Ramjee, MD, CDH-E is a cardiologist and health innovation leader serving as Division Board President-Elect of the American Heart Association and immediate past National Co-Chair of Cardiology & Innovation at CommonSpirit Health, the nation’s largest nonprofit health system. He designed and scaled one of the country’s largest AI- and deep learning–enabled coronary CT programs for early detection of coronary artery disease and founded one of the nation’s largest aortic aneurysm registries. Dr. Ramjee also contributes to academic initiatives as faculty at Harvard University on Health Systems Innovation and advises digital health startups through several leading accelerators, including Techstars, HeartX, and MedAxiom, helping translate clinically validated solutions into real-world impact. His work centers on advancing innovative care models and responsible AI-enabled solutions to confront the world’s leading health challenge—heart disease.
