Ann Marie Navar, MD, PhD

Ann Marie Navar is a preventive cardiologist and an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Her research focuses on cardiovascular disease prevention including epidemiology, clinical trials, implementation science, and EHR-enabled research. She is the volunteer lead for AHA’s Doctors with Heart program. She also serves as the deputy editor for equity, diversity, and inclusion at JAMA-Cardiology.
